Peter Quigley is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Financial Management and Planning. If Pennsylvania State University offered minors, he had sufficient credits for minors in Accounting and Economics.
Peter attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Law where he received his law degree. At Pitt, he was appointed to the school's Law Review publication staff. Appointment to Law Review is by academic merit only.
After graduating from law school, Peter clerked for Judge Ronald E. Vican for fifteen months. Following that clerkship, Peter spent four years working with Attorney George W. Westervelt in Stroudsburg. Peter went into business with Attorney Mark Primrose in 1988.
Peter's law practice consists primarily of personal injury litigation, DUI/Criminal Defense, personal injury, real estate transactions, will and estates, divorce and municipal and zoning law. Peter is admitted to practice before the Federal Third Circuit Court of Appeals, Pennsylvania Middle District Court and all Pennsylvania State Courts. He practices throughout northeastern Pennsylvania.
In addition to his practice, Peter has also provided the following part-time services to Monroe County:
1. From 1985 through July, 1988, Peter was the Child Custody Master for
Monroe County.
2. From July, 1988 through December, 1992, Peter was a part-time Assistant
District Attorney in Monroe County, spending a year and a half of that time
as the First Assistant District Attorney.
3. From January, 1990 through December, 1994, Peter was the Solicitor for
the Monroe County Controller's Office.

4. Peter has been the solicitor for the Pocono Mountain Regional Police Commission from 1994 to present.
5. From 1995 through 2004, Peter was the solicitor for the Tunkhannock Township Board of Supervisors.
6. From September, 1996 through November, 1996, Peter served again as a part-time Assistant District Attorney until a full
time replacement could be found.
7. From 1999 through 2002, Peter was a court appointed conflicts counsel for the Public Defender's Office.
8. From 2002 through present, Peter has been the solicitor for the Monroe County Municipal Waste Authority.
